Partner for project proposals

We assist companies, universities and other organisations in writing project proposals where outreach and community engagement is an important part of the project evaluation. Our close integration can help to give a competitive edge to the project proposal. Please present your project for consideration via email to offshorewind4kids@gmail.com with an indication of how outreach is evaluated in the project evaluation and the related budget.

Wind4Kids lead

Join us as our Wind4Kids lead. This is a central position in the OffshoreWind4Kids organisation taking the lead of the Wind4Kids school program.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organising Wind4Kids workshops

  • Coordinating material production

  • Client & partner contacts

  • Updating course material

Essential qualifications:

  • Knowledge about wind energy

  • Experience teaching kids or organising kids activities

  • Drivers license

Desirable qualifications

  • Electrical engineering knowledge

  • Programming knowledge

Location: Brussels, Belgium (On-site), and includes travel abroad for workshops.

Summer intern

OffshoreWind4Kids is looking for a summer intern to:

  • Organise demo days

  • Manufacture offshore wind support structures

  • Design new structures

Essential qualifications:

  • Knowledge about or interest in design principles for offshore wind support structures

Desirable qualifications

  • Experience teaching kids or organising kids activities

  • Experience with prototyping and CAD modelling

  • Drivers license

Location: Brussels, Belgium (On-site), and includes travel abroad for workshops.

 

Our lasts for 3 weeks to 2 months. An expense fee for volunteers of 40,69€/day will be covered. Additional costs relating to travel for demo days will also be covered. International candidates are offered on-site accommodation.
