What a ride! 🌊💨

We just wrapped up our participation of a team from University College Dublin in the hashtag#FloatingWindChallenge — and wow, what an experience it’s been!

This was our time in the competition, and it was full of learning, trial and error, and a whole lot of teamwork. Now, we all know what is the difference between theory and real-world 😁

Well done to the team, Theodoros Varouxis, Mahmoud Abdelhak, Mohadeseh (Mahdis) Ashkarkalaei, Yining Liu and Angel Encalada-Davila.

We didn’t have all the answers (still don’t!), but we showed up, gave it our all, and grew immensely in the process. Huge shoutout to the organizers at OffshoreWind4Kids, inparticular Dr Ir William Beuckelaers for such a valuable and inspiring platform — and to all the other teams who made it such a motivating environment. 🌍⚙️

Already looking forward to the next one — stronger, smarter, and even more wind-powered! 💪
