Explaining my job as a renewable energy project finance banker to my kids can feel pretty abstract so it was wonderful to spend Sunday afternoon on the beach in our hometown the Hague building offshore wind farm models with students of TU Delft. My daughter chose a jacket with suction caissons and my son went straight for a tension line floating structure.
