🌊 Floating Wind Challenge 2025 – Empowering the Next Generation of Offshore Innovators 🌊

Last week, Bexco Synthetic Ropes by Bekaert had the privilege of serving as a jury partner at the Floating Wind Challenge, an inspiring initiative by Offshore Wind 4 Kids.

Together with our colleagues Taylor McNaught, Sam De Loose and Natalie Windey, we had the opportunity to evaluate university teams from across the globe on their small-scale floating wind turbine designs — with a special focus on mooring and anchoring systems ⚓

💡 The creativity, technical insight, and passion these students brought to the challenge were truly impressive. Each team showcased a unique approach, and their dedication to renewable innovation was energizing to witness.
