We’ve just about caught our breath after two incredible days at hashtag#TheRoyalNorfolkShow and what a show it was! 🙌
A huge thank you to our fantastic sponsors RWE, Ørsted, Murphy, Siemens Energy and Equinor for helping bring the EastWind marquee to life with a brilliant mix of hands-on activities. We often discuss collaboration in offshore wind, but last week we saw it in action.
One of this year’s highlights? Launching The Energy Trail...
Students collected facts from each exhibitor in their energy passports, earning a certificate at the end and getting a real insight into the range of companies, careers and innovations that make up our sector. We were also delighted to be joined by RoundView, who brought so much energy to our activity zone alongside Siemens Gamesa with the OffshoreWind4Kids kits!
We were proud to support school transport for Fakenham Academy Sixth Form, East Norfolk Sixth Form College and Sir John Leman High School — giving even more young people the opportunity to experience the STEMM Village. 🚍
We'd also like to thank Samantha Fox for hosting us in such an energetic and inspiring space. So much goes into delivering the STEMM Village and to see it so busy and full of life was brilliant.
Engaging with students, teachers and the wider public about offshore wind is at the heart of what we do. It’s been a pleasure to spark conversations and hopefully inspire people to think about a career in offshore wind.
