Reflecting on Te Matatini 2025: offshore wind, culture and connection
NgÄ mihi nui to all who came by our stall at Te Matatini o Te Kahui Maunga earlier this year! Held in NgÄmotu, the festival brought together thousands to celebrate kapa haka and MÄori culture ā and Parkwind was privileged to be part of it as a stallholder and sponsor supporting local iwi hosting responsibilities.
Our demonstration space welcomed a diverse stream of visitors: from inquisitive tamariki building floating wind turbine models, to rangatahi curious about renewable energy careers, and kaumÄtua sharing whakaaro about the future of energy in Taranaki. It was a space for two-way learning, hands-on engagement, and relationship building with iwi and hapÅ« from across Aotearoa.
Te Matatini was a special chance to listen, share and grow. Our thanks again to the organizers, hosts, and everyone who stopped in to kÅrero ā we look forward to keeping the conversation going š¬ļøāØ
